日本中の職人技を、体験できる八芳園 ビジネスイベントWAZA DEPARTMENT（1）
日本中の職人技を、東京で体験できる夏の1日。毎年、東京白金台の八芳園で開催されるビジネスイベント、「ワザデパートメント」の総合プロデュースを担当。地方の魅力を体験していただき、地方に観光客を促すことを試みた。南は、鹿児島県徳之島から、北は岩手県 釜石市まで、デザイナーと料理人と足を運び、地方のあらゆる伝統工芸職人、生産者と、コラボレーション。新しいプロダクト、ファッション、料理など様々なものを生み出し、新しい見せ方で演出した。対象客は、観光関係者、マスコミ、デパート関係者、バイヤーなどで、2000人規模のイベントとなった。
Event Production
A summer day in Tokyo where you can experience craftsmanship from all over Japan. We are responsible for the comprehensive production of the “Waza Department,” a business event held annually at Happo-en, Shirokanedai, Tokyo. We provided experiences to tourists that showcased the allure of rural areas and encouraged them to rural areas. We work with designers and chefs and collaborated with various local traditional craftsmen and producers from Tokunoshima in Kagoshima Prefecture in the south to Kamaishi City in Iwate Prefecture in the north. We created a variety of objects including new products, fashion, and cuisine, presenting them in new ways. Our target clientele included tourists, news media, department store officials, and buyers, and we hosted an event for almost 2000 people.
Production by flowers
イベント会場の要所に、池坊による花の演出。伝統工芸と組み合わせ、光で演出することで生花の可能性を広げた。
Ikenobo-based flower arrangements were present at key areas in the event venue. We expanded the possibilities of living flowers by combining them with traditional crafts and arranging them with light.
Production by food
食によるエンターテイメント。和食に演出を加えることで新しい見え方となった。全てフィンガーフード。素材の味がそのままお客様に伝わるように工夫した。
Culinary entertainment. Adding performances with washoku provided a refreshing new look. All the dishes were finger foods. We designed them so that the ingredients’ flavors were directly communicated to the customer.
Production by art
京都、箔のアーティスト裕人礫翔と食のコラボレーション。金箔のアート背景に置き、手間には鉄で木の枝を表現し、皿を置ける様に工夫した。料理が一つのアート作品となった。
A culinary collaboration with Kyoto foil artist Hiroto Rakusho. We designed it so that plates were placed in a backdrop of gold foil art, and tree branches were expressed with iron in front. The culinary dish became a work of art in itself.
Production by craftsmanship
伝統工芸の職人とのコラボレーションによるプロダクトの開発。LEDを巧みに使用し、新しい見せ方にチャレンジした。
Product development through collaboration with traditional craftsmen. We took on the challenge of new display methods through the skillful use of LEDs.
